Job Description

ATA Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Secretary to provide administrative and customer support services. This position serves as the initial point of contact for internal and external customers and supports the daily operations of the office through reception, data entry, document processing, recordkeeping, reporting, and general administrative duties.

Pay Rate:  $22.00 per hour
Start Date:  ASAP  

Assignment Duration: 6 months
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Work Location: Española, NM 87532

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls, greet walk-in clients, and provide professional customer service.
• Communicate daily with the public, industry professionals, department managers, and staff.
• Provide administrative support for the Food Program, Liquid Waste Program, and Swimming Pool Program.
• Perform data entry, prepare and distribute mail, maintain postage logs, and process travel vouchers.
• Maintain vehicle logs and enters and processes all daily deposits.
• Prepare professional correspondence, letters, and other office documents.
• Run and retrieve reports to track program activities and support management analysis.
• Enter program data and prepare recurring reports as needed.
• Organize, develop, and implement efficient document-handling and processing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure the timely processing of administrative paperwork.
• Assist with daily office workflow and perform other related administrative duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in data entry, document preparation, and general office procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and processing deposits.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, staff, and industry representatives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy office environment.
