Programs are designed to complement existing community activities by enhancing social interaction while improving balance, mobility, flexibility, and strength. More information is available at Role Description The Fitness Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, delivering safe and engaging fitness classes for seniors in local senior living communities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and leading group exercise sessions, demonstrating proper technique, and adapting movements to accommodate various mobility and ability levels. The trainer will monitor participant progress, encourage consistent participation, and maintain a supportive, motivating environment. Additional tasks include communicating with community staff, tracking attendance, adhering to safety and health guidelines, and representing Live 2 B Healthy’s mission to promote senior wellness. Qualifications Strong skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to lead safe, engaging classes for seniors. Experience with Fitness Training and knowledge of the Fitness Industry to design appropriate programs for older adults. Customer Service skills to interact professionally with senior residents, community staff, and families. Certification in personal training, group fitness, or senior fitness (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent) preferred. Understanding of basic anatomy, exercise safety, and modifications for varying levels of mobility and health conditions. Ability to motivate diverse groups, demonstrate patience and empathy, and communicate clearly and respectfully. Reliable transportation to visit multiple senior communities in the Sewickley/Pittsburgh NW area. CPR/AED certification and adherence to all safety and health protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr
