The Financial Analyst, you will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. Financial Modeling:· Develop and maintain financial models to analyze and forecast company performance· Use spreadsheet tools to create projections, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses.Budgeting and Forecasting:· Collaborate with various departments to create and manage budgets.· Prepare financial forecasts, identifying trends and potential areas of concern or opportunity.Financial Reporting:· Generate and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.· Communicate financial results and trends to management and stakeholders.Variance Analysis:· Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.· Identify and investigate discrepancies, providing explanations for variances.Decision Support:· Provide decision support by analyzing financial data and making recommendations for strategic and operational decisions.· Assess the financial impact of potential investments, projects, or business initiatives.Market and Industry Analysis:· Monitor economic and industry trends that may impact the organization's financial performance.· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
