Coachella Valley Unified School District covers more than 1200 square miles of mostly rural desert terrain serving the communities of Coachella Thermal Mecca Oasis Indio and the Salton Sea. The district currently operates fifteen elementary schools three middle schools three comprehensive high schools one continuation high school and one adult school. Coachella Valley Unified School District has a growing reputation for innovative programs and outstanding staff. Coachella Valley Unified School District has a large Latino and English Learner population that has made tremendous improvements in student achievement in the past few years.
