Dental assistant
Job Description Overview: Qualified dental assistant needed for a part-time position working 24 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, plus 1 Saturday per month starting in September. Additional hours may be available.
Responsibilities: Welcome patients into treatment area and ensure comfort. Discuss care plans and answer questions. Take vital signs and accurately record medical history. Prep sterilized equipment and assist dentist during procedures and exams. Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and office space. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications: Self-starter and team player with strong communication, customer service skills, and high attention to detail. Must hold a NJ dental x-ray certification or be in the process of acquiring one.
